This short novel for German-as-a-Foreign-Language tells the story of a young Spanish woman who comes to Hildesheim in search of work and a new life. Getting started won't be easy even though Ana's boyfriend lives in Hildesheim. How she manages to settle in and feel at home in her new environment is the subject of this true-to-life novel that echoes many of the realities experienced by young immigrants. The short chapters and simple but authentic language make reading easy and study in class possible from A1+ level upwards.
The delightful illustrations in the book were created by the author herself.
