Content: How can we get 12 to 15-year-olds to learn German successfully and enjoy the experience?

Pingpong Neu addresses themes and topics that interest teenagers and teaches authentic German in lifelike situations. Group and partner work help to liven up classroom teaching. Using a wide variety of tasks and exercises, language elements (vocabulary, phrases and structures) are first introduced, then varied and practised in freer form before being transferred to different contexts.

From the very first lesson students communicate actively with each other. The course has three volumes and leads up to CEF levels A1, A2 and B1 as well as preparing for the Fit in Deutsch 1 and 2 and the Zertifikat Deutsch für Jugendliche examinations.

Regional editions/workbooks for the Czech Republik, Greece, Italy, Poland and Spain also available. The coursebooks are also accompanied by the basic grammar for teenagers Und jetzt ihr!

Workbook exercises are explicitly allocated to the learning steps in the coursebook. Each lesson contains reading texts with tasks for training reading comprehension as well as tests for self-evaluation by the student. Pronuncia-tion exercises are found at the end of each lesson. Workbook exercises are suited both for classwork as well as independent study at home.

Workbook editions available in various original languages (Italienian, Polish, Spanish and Greek - only available from Hueber Hellas) with grammatical explanations and contrasting remarks in the individual original languages.
