The author succeeds in bringing people like you and me to life with sympathy and understanding, making these stories a real pleasure to read and listen to. An air of amusement and at times of melancholy pervades the texts that adds to the reading experience and provides further food for thought.
The short stories are divided into short, clear "chapters" containing single-language word explanations in the appendix plus exercises for reading comprehension and for developing reading strategies.
